BEHIND CALYPTO: MEET NIX & BALEX
CALYPTO was born from a shared vision between two creatives, NIX and BALEX. With a passion for fashion, technology, and culture, they set out to build something that goes beyond clothing - something that merges the physical and digital worlds in a way that feels natural, exciting, and entirely new.
BALEX, the designer behind CALYPTO, has always been drawn to futuristic aesthetics and technical craftsmanship. Every piece he creates is meant to tell a story - through its structure, details, and the way it connects with its wearer. NIX focuses on the bigger picture, ensuring that CALYPTO is not just a brand but a movement, built on creativity, community, and forward-thinking design.
Why did we start CALYPTO?
NIX: We wanted to create something that felt truly new. Fashion has always been about self-expression, but in a world where digital presence is just as important as physical style, we saw an opportunity to bridge the gap. CALYPTO is our answer to that - a brand that lives in both worlds.
BALEX: For me, it was about designing pieces that look and feel futuristic, yet remain wearable. I’ve always been fascinated by technical design, and with CALYPTO, we have the freedom to experiment - whether it’s in the cuts, the materials, or the way each release tells its own story.
What makes CALYPTO different?
NIX: We’re not just selling clothes - we’re building an interconnected ecosystem. Every CALYPTO piece is part of a bigger narrative, made for people who value authenticity, individuality, and connection.
BALEX: The design itself is key. We’re creating a new aesthetic, inspired by urban techwear but built to last beyond trends. Each piece is made to stand out, while still being functional and wearable.
Where do you see CALYPTO in the next few years?
NIX: We want to build a community-driven brand, where our collectors aren’t just buyers - they’re part of something bigger. The goal is to keep expanding, experimenting, and taking CALYPTO to a global audience.
BALEX: More than anything, we want to stay true to our vision. If we can keep creating pieces that excite us, challenge us, and connect with people, then we’re on the right path.
